  1. v133Latest

    Central settings and independent units

A separate Settings & Tools page can now save each preferred measurement unit independently on this device and open the established ballistic and paper-fit tools from one place.

    • Sight height, projectile dimensions, velocity, range, atmosphere, wind, label dimensions, paper thickness and result units can be chosen independently instead of through one Metric or Imperial switch.
    • The built-in converter changes one value at a time without changing or saving any calculator setting.
    • New blank work can start with the saved scope unit, click value and clicks-per-revolution defaults, while loaded and saved projects keep their own exact mechanical settings.
    • BC Startup Estimator, Trajectory Correction and Paper Thickness Estimator remain connected to their existing verified calculation logic and are now easier to find.
    • Preferences stay on this device; account data, payments, credits, project identities, ballistic equations, label geometry and true-size PDF output remain unchanged.

  2. v132

Clear control press and trajectory feedback

Website controls now respond visibly when pressed, while the main trajectory action shows distinct working and completed states even when recalculating the same inputs.

    • Calculate trajectory now paints a locked working state before the solver starts and prevents accidental duplicate submissions.
    • A nearby completion message confirms that the trajectory table was refreshed even when the resulting values did not change.
    • Enabled buttons and the website’s button-style links now use one consistent tactile press effect, with a clearer keyboard focus ring.
    • Reduced-motion preferences keep the non-moving tonal feedback and remove the rotating working icon.
    • Ballistic equations, BC estimation, trajectory correction, labels, projects, payments, credits, geometry and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Try the clearer calculator
  3. v131

BC startup estimation from shape or velocity

A separate browser-only estimator can now propose a cautious starting G1, G7 or GA BC from measured projectile dimensions or real downrange velocity loss.

    • Projectile mode accepts a compatible shape, common or custom measured diameter, total length and the existing weight, muzzle velocity and atmosphere.
    • McDrag-based rifle-bullet estimates sweep plausible hidden nose and base dimensions and always return a broad low-confidence working range.
    • GA uses a deliberately broad generic round-nosed Diabolo prior because diameter and length do not reveal waist, skirt or head drag.
    • Velocity mode fits one effective BC from up to six increasing-distance average chronograph readings and reports the tested Mach band and fit quality.
    • Nothing changes until Use estimated BC is approved; only the BC input is updated, while labels, projects, payments, credits, geometry and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Estimate a starting BC
  4. v130

Clear correction progress and stable theme navigation

Trajectory correction now announces its calculation, reveals the corrected value when ready and keeps the selected interface theme when opening the calculator from the label designer.

    • A prominent status explains that correction can take a few seconds before the exact search starts.
    • Completion shows the calculated BC or muzzle velocity and automatically reveals the approval panel.
    • Label Designer links now use the established same-tab preference handoff, so Light or Dark remains selected in Ballistic Calculator.
    • Direct fresh page loads still start in Light, and trajectory mathematics, labels, saved projects, payments, credits, geometry and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Open the improved correction
  5. v129

    Verified trajectory correction

A guided truing workflow can now estimate a corrected BC or effective muzzle velocity from one verified total elevation correction before any value is applied.

    • Correct trajectory sits beside label transfer and accepts either whole mechanical clicks or the active MOA, MIL or MRAD unit.
    • The correction uses the exact level, no-wind reference solver, recomputes the zero for every trial and refuses unsupported or poorly constrained observations.
    • Users explicitly choose BC or muzzle velocity, review current versus corrected values and approve the change before that one input is updated.
    • The rounded proposed value is recalculated before confirmation; when it changes an input, the old trajectory table stays stale until Calculate trajectory is run again.
    • All other inputs, selected rows, label drafts, saved projects, payments, credits, geometry and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Correct a verified trajectory
  6. v128

    Current local weather estimates

The Ballistic Calculator can now use an approximate device location to fill temperature, humidity and estimated absolute station pressure without changing any other setup.

    • Weather is requested only after Use current weather is pressed, and all three atmosphere values remain editable.
    • Approximate coordinates are sent once per request through a same-site weather proxy and are never added to a label project.
    • Commercially permitted MET Norway forecast data is credited, conditionally revalidated and converted from sea-level pressure using model elevation.
    • If permission, location or weather retrieval fails, every existing calculator value is preserved.
    • Wind, rifle, ammunition, range, label transfer, saved projects, payments, geometry and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Open the Ballistic Calculator
  7. v127

GA pellet drag and click presets

GA drag support brings Diabolo airgun pellets into the calculator, while a common-value picker and Custom entry make scope-click setup faster.

    • The ChairGun GA reference curve adds a Diabolo pellet drag choice with its own supported BC range.
    • Common MOA, MIL and MRAD click values are now available from a list, with a separate Custom value field.
    • The private-browser notice is shorter and easier to read.
    • G1/G7 calculations, label transfer, saved projects, payments, label geometry and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Open the Ballistic Calculator
  8. v126

Ballistic Calculator and expanded Dual Scale styles

A separate browser-only G1/G7 trajectory calculator can now prepare verified elevation-click rows for a new unsaved turret-label draft, alongside four new whole-unit Dual Scale variants.

    • The independent 3-DOF calculator uses BC, muzzle velocity, sight height, zero distance, atmosphere and exact per-range elevation solving.
    • Current horizontal wind and shooting inclination can be compared while reusable label clicks remain level and no-wind.
    • An explicit one-time handoff transfers only turret dimensions, mechanical adjustment settings and chosen distance-to-click rows.
    • Four new vertical and horizontal Dual Scale styles add consecutive whole-unit numbers with short or full-height distance separators.
    • Existing saved projects, payments, credits, label geometry and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Open the Ballistic Calculator
  9. v125

    Secure one-time project checkout

PayPal-verified project credits, explicit one-credit project creation and 30-day same-setup restyles now sit around the established label workflow without changing its output geometry.

    • Checkout is one-time, not a subscription, and appears only after the owner enables the verified payment server.
    • The server selects every price, verifies PayPal capture and grants each paid credit exactly once.
    • A new locked equipment and ballistic setup uses one credit only after the customer confirms it.
    • Re-downloads and visual restyles for the same locked project use no additional credit during its 30-day access period.
    • The private owner dashboard controls offers, prices, checkout rollout, enforcement and approved complimentary credits.
    • Label artwork, measurements, physical dimensions, saved settings and every PDF output remain unchanged.
    Open project checkout
  10. v124

    Stronger precision interface

Turret Label Maker now uses an engineered type system, organized rectangular navigation and balanced graphite and warm-stone themes across every public page.

    • Barlow Semi Condensed and Noto Kufi Arabic give headings, controls and navigation a distinctive technical shape, with IBM Plex Mono for measured values.
    • Desktop and mobile navigation now uses framed rectangular tabs with clearer active, hover and keyboard-focus states.
    • Dark mode is lifted from near-black to graphite, while Light mode uses a calmer warm-stone canvas instead of near-white.
    • Label artwork, measurements, physical dimensions, saved settings and every PDF output remain unchanged.

  11. v123

    Bug fix

The selected label style now has a strong high-contrast boundary, making the pressed choice clear in both Light and Dark interface themes.

    • The active style uses a bold brass border, inner ring and soft tinted background.
    • The selected boundary remains clear on desktop, tablet, mobile and Arabic layouts.
    • Label artwork, saved settings, physical dimensions and PDF output remain unchanged.
    Open the label designer
  12. v122

    Bright yellow reticle scale dots

The exact hold dots on the reticle center scale now use high-visibility safety yellow with a dark outline in both light and dark files.

    • Every exact saved hold point on the center scale is easier to find against either reticle theme.
    • A short, faint horizontal guide links each yellow dot to its matching gold letter without crossing other holds.
    • The gold letter badges remain unchanged, preserving the established range-to-hold matching system.
    • Angular holds, units, marker positions, card dimensions and PDF print settings remain unchanged.
    Open saved profiles
  13. v121

    Straight combined Tilted Grid scales

Combined multi-turn Tilted Grid labels now use straight vertical mechanical scale lines while preserving their exact click positions and physical PDF dimensions.

    • Every combined Tilted Grid line now runs vertically through the T1, T2 and T3 bands.
    • Each line keeps the same exact mechanical click coordinate in the preview and PDF.
    • Single-turn Tilted Grid artwork, number sizing, seam, label dimensions and print settings remain unchanged.
    Try Tilted Grid
  14. v120

    Readable combined multi-turn labels

Combined T1, T2 and T3 labels now keep the selected style family and respond predictably to the full number-size control without changing physical label geometry.

    • Ruler, pointer and grid styles retain distinct combined-turn visual cues instead of collapsing into one generic layout.
    • Every repaired non-Turn Grid combined style now responds directly to the 80-160% number control instead of being overridden by silent collision shrinking.
    • Turn Grid, click positions, circumference, seam, label millimetres and PDF print settings remain unchanged.
    Try combined multi-turn labels
  15. v118

Larger distance numbers with vertical fine adjustment

Classic, Dark and Minimal labels can now use distance numbers up to 160% and move them slightly up or down without changing any mechanical or PDF dimension.

    • The established 100% size and centered position remain the default for new and existing profiles.
    • Vertical adjustment changes only the distance text; click anchors, ticks, circumference, seam and exact label size stay fixed.
    • Purpose-built layouts retain their proven fit-safe typography limits.
    Adjust number appearance
  16. v117

One reticle for up to 20 distances

Profiles with up to 20 saved distances now stay together on one reticle, with compact gold letters at their exact axis levels and no long connector lines.

    • Close angular holds no longer split a 20-distance profile across extra reticles.
    • The left and right range key keeps all 20 entries readable while matching each one to its exact gold axis letter.
    • Profiles longer than 20 rows paginate only by the fixed card capacity.
    Open saved profiles
  17. v116

    Clear matched reticle hold markers

Dense reticle references now use identical gold letter badges at each saved range and its exact angular hold point, removing ambiguous connector ladders.

    • Every saved range shows a gold letter that matches one exact lettered hold point.
    • Long crossing leader lines are removed, so no distance depends on tracing a connector.
    • Closely spaced holds split across additional panels before marker letters can overlap.
    Open saved profiles
  18. v115

    Unit-matched reticle holdover references

Saved profiles can now create light and dark elevation holdover references from exact total-click data, without adding horizontal correction or changing label output.

    • MOA, MIL and MRAD profiles keep their native adjustment unit and exact signed angular holds.
    • Dense distance lists split across numbered panels while every range keeps its true hold point.
    • The ZIP includes screen references, vector PDFs, A4 sheets, a value table and clear FFP/SFP guidance.
    Open saved profiles
  19. v114

Scope-cap DOPE inserts and release history

Saved profiles can now produce exact-size circular scope-cap DOPE inserts, while this page keeps every meaningful site update easy to find.

    • Temporary cap diameter never changes the saved profile or label geometry.
    • Light and dark inserts split across additional numbered discs instead of shrinking the data.
    • A4 print sheets include circular cutting outlines and the exact 50 mm print control.
    Open saved profiles
  20. v110-v113

Two ways to define one mechanical revolution

Define a full revolution from counted mechanical clicks or from the total MOA, MIL or MRAD marked for one complete turn.

    • Both entry methods resolve to the same whole mechanical click count.
    • Fractional results are rejected rather than silently rounded.
    See revolution inputs
  21. v108-v109

    Three new reference label styles

Vertical Pointers, Horizontal Pointers and Turn Grid were added with exact click anchors and dedicated Smart collision behaviour.

    • Original keeps every distance at its exact mechanical position.
    • Smart separates crowded labels while retaining the true source mark.
    Explore label styles
  22. v106-v107

Equal-click freedom and stronger public SEO

Original mode now permits repeated total-click values, and every public tool received focused metadata, headings and structured search data.

    • Repeated values no longer disable saving or ZIP downloads in regular Original styles.
    • Print and Fit Test, Shooting Targets and Support are independently discoverable pages.
    Open the label designer
  23. v105

    Branded production label sheets

Production PDFs gained the Turret Label Maker vector mark and title inside the existing safe header area without moving any label.

    • Exact label millimetres, captions, page planning and the 50 mm control stayed unchanged.
    Review PDF guidance
  24. v102-v104

    Independent Print and Fit Test

A read-only test workflow added low-ink wraps, split seam guides, custom fit strips and a branded ZIP without reading or changing editor values.

    • Registered users can download the test ZIP after viewing and entering temporary measurements.
    • Any custom winner must be transferred manually to the designer.
    Open Print and Fit Test
  25. v100-v101

    Compact saved-profile DOPE packs

Read-only saved profiles gained downloadable 90 x 35 mm light and dark DOPE cards, A4 sheets and clearly named ZIP contents.

    • The cards use only the exact revalidated saved distance-to-click data.
    • No ballistic values are invented or recalculated.
    Open saved profiles
  26. v99

    Clear Rows seam-anchor correction

Clear Rows cutting and seam behaviour was corrected while the physical click scale remained tied to measured circumference.

    • Production tick positions and true-size PDF safeguards remained protected.
